Casa Bobu, a 3-star guesthouse, is located in an exceptional natural setting at the foot of the Ceahlău Massif, also known as the Olympus of Moldova. We welcome you at any time to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay in the mountains.
We offer accommodation and dining in the heart of nature, in one of the country’s most popular mountain areas, Izvoru Muntelui, located 7 km from the town of Bicaz, Neamț County.
Benefiting from a superb location, bordered by the Izvoru Muntelui stream and fir forest, with a direct frontal view of Mount Ceahlău, the Toaca Peak (1,904 m) and Dochia Chalet, our guesthouse is situated at an altitude of over 500 metres and is the perfect destination for a weekend break, a holiday, or a celebration with family and friends.

Our accommodation offers a selection of bright, comfortable rooms designed for a relaxing stay in a peaceful countryside setting. Guests can expect warm, traditional interiors with practical furnishings, comfortable beds, and plenty of natural light, as well as private en-suite bathrooms with showers (and in some rooms a bathtub). Many rooms feature a private balcony or covered terrace with seating and scenic views, providing the perfect spot to unwind. Tourist Attractions
Using our guesthouse as a starting point, you can enjoy hiking and numerous tourist attractions in the area, such as excursions on Mount Ceahlău, Lake Izvorul Muntelui (4 km), the Durău Resort (22 km), Bicaz Gorge and Red Lake (25 km).
You may also visit a wide range of places of worship with impressive history and deep spiritual significance, such as: Pângărați Monastery (14 km), Tarcău Hermitage (26 km), Bistrița Monastery (22 km), Almaș Monastery (27 km), Neamț Monastery with Cârbuna Hermitage, Secu Monastery, Agapia Monastery, Văratec Monastery, Sihăstria Monastery, Sihla Monastery with the Cave of Saint Teodora, Petru Vodă Monastery, and last but not least, the Stephen the Great Church in Piatra Neamț, built during the reign of Stephen the Great.
In the town of Piatra Neamț, visitors can also enjoy gondola rides from Mount Pietricica.
